In an age when popular culture is defined by glitz and image, Jack Davis and Crossbite shoots from the hip and aims for the gut. Telling honest stories with words and music, the band sounds like what is left after the mirages fade. Born of the blues, their genre-defying sound throbs with a powerful yet thoughtful pulse. Blended with a rocking rhythm section of guitar, bass and drums are soulful, in-your-face trombones and passionate vocals punctuated with congas and the Irish bodhran.
